I look forward to learning about living healthy and exercising from so many people in the health field who are trainers and coaches. It has been a while since I was involved in sports, or went to a gym, but in younger years before having children I played a lot of sports. Usually my exercise is going for walks, and I do a lot of running around but heard that does not count. Throughout the day I am up and down stairs a lot, and when I have worn the step counter, I average at least 9000 steps per day. I do enjoy Reiki when I can get it, and also spiritual quotes, and having my cards read. I like watching The Long Island Medium and believe that people who have passed are with us in spirit.
The Journey on Relaxation was soothing to listen to the voice and music, and even though my arms were not hard to life, my body did feel more relaxed.

ReplyDeleteYou are getting in more steps than people who do an hour of cardiovascular exercise a day! I often tell clients you cannot do one hour of exercise and think it makes up for sitting at a desk, car, etc. the rest of the day. Intentional movement is currently being studied quite a bit - I am sure we'll hear more about it in the future. Keep it up! Yoga is a great way to begin to increase strength, flexibility, and mind-body connection.

ReplyDeletejust wanted to say two things, walking around that much counts for something! and I too love long island medium. I live in Long Island and recognize the areas that she is seen on TV but I just thing her waiting least is just way too long! Of course I believe in the spirit world, but I think that we should respect it and be very careful with it!
